No house has curtains


No house in Sweden has curtains. It's so common that tourists there might think that veiling is legally prohibited in Sweden, but it's not. Sweden is a cold country where the sun shines less and the clouds stay behind, so people don't need curtains and whenever the sun shines, they happily let the sun warm their homes. 


Why are there no light bulbs in the bathroom? 


You might be surprised to know that UK bathrooms don't have light bulbs or switchboards. Instead, lamps are used which are lit by pulling the hooks. This is because a person gets wet while bathing in the bathroom and the risk of electrocution increases, so it is common to use safe lamps instead of bulbs and switches on the wall. 

Washing machine water is used for flushing


There is also a washing machine in the Chinese bathroom so that the water from the washing machine can be used to flush the toilet. There is a regular system in place where the wastewater from the bath and washing machine can be used for flushing.
